No, BVF Inc. grant funds can only be applied to current programs or future programs where the applicant has been accepted.

Yes, if awarded a grant, applicants will receive an email with an award amount and a program identification form. The form must be completed by November 30, 2026 or you will forfeit the amount.

Applicants will only receive the amount awarded. Any additional program fees is the applicant’s responsibility.

No, grant funds from BVF Inc can only be used for program attendance costs directly, all grant funds will be distributed directly to the program an applicant is attending.

The Dreamer Instrument Access grant will provide full size Violins, and Viola’s ranging from size 14 - 16.

Yes, applicants are allowed to apply to more than one grant or instrument access opportunity.

If you receive any of our grants, you agree to allow Black Violin Foundation, Inc. the use of your name, image, likeness, and short biography on our social media platforms, website and any promotional material for future scholarship solicitation and/or advertising.

At this time we don't provide grants or instruments to organizations. Students are responsible for applying for funds to attend programs and lessons.

Unfortunately video submission is a large part of the selection process. If you are unable to submit a video at this time we would encourage you to apply on our next grant cycle.
